HOSPICE HISTORY
The Foothills Country Hospice began with the dreams & visioning efforts of some extraordinary local citizens who saw the need for a rural hospice home in the MD of Foothills.
A great deal of work went into implementing fundraising and public education plans, and it was through these efforts that the community at large became informed, engaged, and committed to the hospice project.
Through these efforts, a “Heart for Hospice” began to beat and the Foothills Country Hospice accepted its first patient on January 28, 2008.

Registration is now closed! Thanks to your incredible support, we have run out of t-shirts! While we no longer have t-shirts to give walk-up participants, you are still welcome to do same-day registration on Sunday, May 5 from 10:00-10:45am.
Registered Participant Package Pick-Up: Friday, may 3, 2024 from 1:00-7:00pm at Okotoks Sobeys
Schedule of events:
10:00 am – 10:45 am: Same-day registration, package pickup and event check-in
10:45 am: Speeches and warm-up
11:00 am: 5K Hustle starts
11:15 am: 2K & 5K Hike starts
10:00 am – 2:00 pm: Family-friendly activities and food trucks onsite
