The Foothills Country Hospice started with a vision of quality hospice care, a donation of land and countless hours of fundraising. As a not for profit service the Foothills Country Hospice does not charge for patient care and relies on donations to help make up the 40% that is not provincially funded. Every donation keeps the vision alive.

Ways to make a Donation
Gifts By Will
This is known as "testamentary" gift. A testamentary gift may take the form of a legacy in a specific amount (for example, $1000). It may also be a gift of a specific property (from a savings account at a specific bank or Canada Savings Bonds).
A donor may wish to purchase or covert a life insurance policy, which designates the hospice as the ultimate beneficiary.
An annuity program is a method which allows the donor to retain some benefit from the gifted property during his or her life but the hospice will be the ultimate beneficiary upon death.
A gift may be donated in memory of a loved one.
A business or social group may hold various fundraising activities throughout the year designating the hospice as the beneficiary of the proceeds received. Contact the Senior Business Manager or Executive Director for more details.
Cash donations may be made in person or mailed to the hospice.
